Roopa, an Assistant Manager in Finance and Accounts at an MNC, dedicated eight years to her corporate career. However, her journey took a turn when she embarked on the path of motherhood and decided to take a two-year break. Coming from a business family, Roopa couldn’t ignore the entrepreneurial bug that kept resurfacing with renewed vigor. Driven by her passion for kids’ early learning and development, she aspired to start her own business, and thus “kidsplanet4u” was born.

The name itself, Kidsplanet, suggests an entire universe catering to children’s interests. Roopa initially focused on offering a variety of toys and games that engaged kids in diverse activities. In a world where most children are digital natives, Roopa’s initiative serves as an inspiration for new parents. She also provides guidance to parents in selecting games that match their child’s tastes and requirements. Adapting to different seasons, Kidsplanet introduces new games, arts, crafts, and activities, ensuring that children celebrate holidays like Diwali, Rakhi, and Back to School. While they do have some imported products, the majority of their inventory is sourced from the Indian market. Roopa’s own children are enthusiastic about the products they are launching.

Until recently, Roopa had been independently managing her presence on social media platforms. However, she has now ventured into online sales through the platform called Pracol. Kidsplanet has already established a strong presence on Facebook, attracting an expanding client list.

Balancing family, social life, and building a career can be an exhausting endeavor, but Roopa and her sister Sindhu have demonstrated that it is indeed possible. Roopa has not only become an entrepreneur but a MOMpreneur, dedicating her time and efforts to benefit children. The relentless pursuit of her passion has brought new levels of excitement for both kids and parents alike.
