Misha, hailing from a conventional family in Kerala, started her career as a banker after she majored in Marketing and HR. However, she quit her job to join her husband in Bahrain. Her journey to entrepreneurship was not a planned one. It all started with the concern about her daughter’s persistent facial rashes. She always wanted to provide a natural choice of skin protection for her child. Misha began to look for pure and chemical-free solutions for her child’s skin rashes.

Finally, when she got the solution, she thought, why not take it out to the world? With no business background, Misha was not confident enough to move forward with the thought of building up a business on her own. But, at the same time, she was motivated to provide natural and authentic skin care for everyone. She started to up-skill and update herself with new techniques and technologies. Despite the duration it required, she amassed self-confidence and effectively initiated her business in 2019 by officially establishing the company known as “Luse Essentials. “She still had many challenges in front of her, such as identifying the correct vendors for raw materials, packaging, and other services.

One of the turning points in her entrepreneurship was her opportunity to get incubated at IIM Bangalore’s NSRCEL. She got selected from 10,000 applicants to be among the top 300 to get incubated for one year. This was a life-changing experience.

Now, Luse Essentials is a natural skincare and cosmetic brand. “Luse”, meaning “green” in ancient Hispanic, is the perfect name for their products. They use pure, natural, and high-quality ingredients sourced from all over the world, making them exotic. They have an exclusive manufacturer for their production with specifications and requirements unique to their products. Their skin care products are vegetarian, paraben-free, alcohol-free, and pH balanced. They have marked their presence on online platforms, including Amazon and Pracol. Misha, along with Luse Essentials, has come a long way since she started her business in 2021. She is living her dream, turning an idea into reality, determined to make a difference.
